Okuma updates its controls frequently, and programming options vary depending on which features were purchased with the machine.
Machine tool builders may also add or modify M-codes or safety settings, which can affect your program.
Because of these variations, no single program template can be guaranteed to work in all situations.

- Some Okuma machines support spindle orientation using specific M-codes; others may require purchased options. (more info here)
- Certain controls need additional M-codes to allow feed moves with the spindle stopped.
